Wildflower season in Texas be like…

Honestly this isn’t that bad at all. We’re all spaced out, and more often than not photographers have been taking turns in shared public spaces. I am a huge believer in community over competition and I have felt that here for sure. 🥰 But it f you thought you were showing up to a private flower field, that is not the case. I value transparency and it’s important to know what it looks like in person.

Thank you to all those who have done their best to maintain the wildflowers and sharing the space! And thank you to the city of Richardson for planting these beautiful wildflowers throughout the city for all to enjoy!

Senior year can be a lot, and you are not too late if you have not taken senior photos. Personally, I love taking photos in the spring because it’s the closest to graduation, Texas looks the best before everything melts in two months, and you’re in the final countdown with all the motions and excitement that caught through the photos. Senior sessions can be extra fun with your best friend, be a furry or human.

Springtime is my absolute favorite time of year, and this March has been filled with so many amazing moments and memories. I never want to forget them.

I used to always take my big fancy camera with me to every single trip and now I have finally found the joy in leaving it home. I still take phone photos, and probably an alarming amount, but being able to not stress over and carry all of that gear has allowed me to be more present in the moment.

Some of my absolute favorite photos this month are the ones with my people in them. I also wanted to honor the details of the month that also spoke to me. March has been so filling and I hope to savor these moments as time rushes and pulls us towards April and May.
